Hi. I am using my own single-private-page.php template and wondering how I can add your fields from the settings for the Above Page Content, Default Page Content and Below Page Content. I don’t see any docs for this.

How would those fields be added to the template?

    Thanks.

    Hi @efishinsea,

Go to your WordPress Dashboard -> Users -> Client Portal Settings -> type something in the Above Page Content, Default Page Content or Below Page Content -> and don’t forget to click on “Save settings” after you’re done. The above Page Content will be automatically added to the top of the content of the private page and the same is for the Below Page Content only this time it will be below the page content.

After this scroll up until you see Generate pages and press on “Generate pages for existing users” to generate pages for already existing users.

    Best regards,

Upon further investigation, I see that your above/below content boxes are written to the page via the_content() which in our case, doesn’t help, as we are using Advanced Custom Fields to display our custom user-specific content, and not the default WP the_content().

When I enable the standard page content this way, your fields all appear above all of our content, which won’t help.

A suggestion for future releases would be to make these 3 fields shortcodes that can be added anywhere needed for individual custom templates.

Thank you for your feedback, we will be implementing this into a future update of the plugin.

Thanks! And thanks for a nice plugin. I tried many other potential solutions out there, and yours was the easiest and most complete I found.
