Custom template

  • hello, im not a coder and i would like to use this plugin and populate the other fields while filling out info about the movies for example.
    You mention something about copying a folder and so on but I have trouble locating that and also understanding what the next possible steps would be.

  • any person manage to make age where can show movie we add. seams only developer screen shoot works. lol.

    i try shortcode in page but show blank.

    Hi, to use the custom template feature you will need to do some programming / coding unfortunately.

    You need first to copy the mmdb_templates folder inside you theme. And then you can work with the custom template file. Copying the templates inside your theme is a precaution, so when you update the plugin your changes are not lost.

    The truth is that the custom template feature was designed in the original version of the plugin when the templates were in PHP. It was probably easier to program a custom template in the PHP version than it is now with the templates being in Vuejs. But you can do it if you learn/know Vuejs.

    In any case however you do have to write code to use this.
