    Hi All,

    1. Is it possible to have a parent/child hierarchy for a custom taxonomy, with check boxes showing in the page view … just as you would see if you were using the standard ‘category’ parent/child settings that exist for a regular ‘blog’ post??

    2. I am setting up the custom taxonomy just fine, associating it to the custom post type just fine, but I am not seeing the subsequent taxonomy additions going under the main taxonomy, like I want it to, hierarchically.

    3. So, am I missing something??? Or is the plugin able to do this???

    Thanks much,
    B

    All,

    1. This Types support page infers that we do have/should have … custom hierarchical taxonomies … https://wp-types.com/documentation/user-guides/create-custom-taxonomies/?utm_source=typesplugin&utm_medium=help&utm_term=custom-taxonomy&utm_campaign=types … but I am only getting/seeing/producing top level/main position, custom taxonomy.

    2. For example … I want to produce this hierarchy, …

    RV Info Sites
    – RV Blogs
    – RV Books
    – RV Campsites
    (and so on … )

But, that is not what I am producing, what I am producing is this:

    RV Info Sites
    RV Blogs
    RV Books
    RV Campsites

All top-level taxonomies, I want hierarchical, parent/child taxonomy, and the support page says, well infers that we have this capability. ???

    UPDATE:

    1. So, I’m crusin’ along building my website, about to add an item to a particular custom post type, … and pfffffft, there I see, UNDER THE ‘CUSTOM POST TYPE’ NAME, on the vertical WP Admin Panel, in the pull-down area, the label/name for my custom parent and child taxonomy!!!

    2. I knew custom parent/child taxonomy existed, because I created them while in/on a post page, … but I could never find where their main access panel for editing and managing them was, … I stumbled across the menu/area/access just now.

    3. Duh! Right where you’d expect it to be! LOL!
