• I have a custom post type “Jobs” that I’m using a Gravity Form for post creation. In this custom post type I also have a custom taxonomy that I’m using to populate a drop down form field. The value from the drop down is being saved to the form entry, but not to the post.

In the form field settings under advanced I have chosen “Populate with Taxonomy” and then selected the appropriate taxonomy. What else could be missing that is causing this to not to save the custom taxonomy?

  • Hi,
I had a similar issue, are you using any payment process before storing post data? if yes then Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types will loose data after payment.

Yes I am, I’m using the Gravity Forms Paypal plugin and noticed that when I check to force payment before page creation it loses the value. Why would anyone allow post creation prior to payment? That’s just silly.

Going to have to do some finagling with the code for when the user returns to the page via paypal.

Hey plumwd, sorry for late reply. here you can do one thing that is save post in draft and after payment success you can publish that specific post.
