Custom taxonomy to only show categories on certain days of the week?

  • Hi all,
    I am busy with an Auction site and I need to create something like “Crazy Wednesdays” category etc which when you click on it will only display auction items on that day from 9h00Am to example 14h00PM.

    I have created a custom taxonomy – but is there any way (me not knowing PHP) to have a start date & time and end date & time linked to this. In other words the seller would be able to select Jewellery as a main category – with Crazy Wednesdays as Promotional Category (I have set this up already). I want the specific item to only appear on the web page when it IS actually Wednesday..

    Hope I have explained correctly?

    Or is my ony alternative to get a PHP Developer?
