Custom taxonomy permalinks

Hey guys,

I’m currently working on a project that requires me to make use of custom taxonomies and custom post types. But I’ve ran into a few issues with trying to setup the correct permalink structure for my custom taxonomies.

I’m looking to organise my posts within this custom post type in a hierarchical fashion, using both parent and child taxonomies (pretty straight forward).

The ideal structure of my permalinks in this custom post type would be like this:

https://example.com/custom-post-type/parent-taxonomy/child-taxonomy/post-name

But for some reason it doesn’t currently work like this. At the moment even when I’ve assigned my entry a parent and child taxonomy the permalink in the edit screen shows like this:

https://example.com/custom-post-type/post-name

My current permalink settings are:

/%category%/%postname%/

Is there any clean way of making it work the way I want it to?
