Custom taxonomy archive page shows extra posts if scrolled
-
I have created some custom taxonomies to use on my site for my doll photo stories. One is “character_name” for character (first) names. If I click to look at an archive page for any of my character names, the archive will look fine when it first loads, but if I scroll once I’ve reached the bottom (or if there are only a few posts in the archive), a lot of other posts will suddenly show up that don’t use that character name. Here is an example, for my character, Nyla: https://port-sebastian.com/character_name/nyla/ . It will load fine at first, but if you scroll once it loads, several other posts will show up that do not use the “Nyla” character_name taxonomy.
This is happening on archives of all my custom taxonomies, not just “character_name”. The extra results that show up don’t necessarily even use the same taxonomy at all. Another example is my taxonomy that tracks the doll face molds. Here is a list of all “head-face-molds”: https://port-sebastian.com/the-dolls/head-face-molds/ . If you click on any of the mold names, such as “Mackie”, the archive will look right when it loads, but if you scroll, the new posts that appear don’t all even use the “head-face-molds” taxonomy.
How can I fix this?
Thank you!
