Hi there, ive creaetd custom post and custom taxonomies for it. For example “My products” as custom post type and “categories” as a taxonomie.

I’ve also addes some “categories” for “My products”. So when i want to add new “product” i see tree menu with “categories” and it works well.

I allready have 190 “products”, but when im in menu list of “all my products” i can’t filter with “category” taxonomie. I can see “category” for every single product on the list, but when i trying to click and sort by one of category, there is nothing to show.

If i go directly to the taxonomies list page, there is a list of categories with number how many posts it has.

but filtering seems not to work.

Not quite sure what areas you may be referring to here for filter options. Can you provide a screenshot or two to help me visualize where you’re referring to? For example is this something on the frontend for the user to use? Or is this just in your admin panel with managing your posts’ content?

as you can see in my case product is taxonomy for My products. On the 1st screen is list of my custom posts, and you can find there categories on the right, what type is it, but if i click on it to filter, there is just empty list like there is no posts.

the second screen is from my taxonomies and there is count of posts for each, but as i said cant see it on the list of custom posts.

Have you added any sort of customized queries at all like with the pre_get_posts filter? It’s possible that’s unintentionally interfering in some way.

I have set up a very quick “movie” post type and “genre” taxonomy. I then assigned a “comedy” genre to one of the movies and the list filtered down to that selected term when I clicked on it. So overall, it should be possible like expected, but the question is if there’s something else in the site having an effect.
