Custom Taxonomies and Main Menu

  • I have googled and googled and I can’t find this specific issue anywhere. Or a solution.

    What I have is a custom taxonomy for projects. A term might be “Commercial” or “Featured” as a project type.

    I have a main custom menu with an item labeled “Our Projects” in it that links to the “Featured” project type.

    I have a list of all the project types in a sidebar next to the lists of projects of a certain type.

    If I’m looking at the list of Featured projects, then the menu item shows as current. But, if I’m on any other project type, then the menu item shows as normal.

    What I’d like is for the menu item to show as current no matter which project type you’re looking at. Is there a way to do that?
