    Hello.

My custom taxonomies are showing in the legend drop down, but the locations are not showing on the map. What am I missing?

    Thanks.

    John

    Hello John,

Could you send me the link to the webpage to check the map settings in detail, please?

    Best regards.

    Hello,

I’ve visited your webpage, however, I guess the map’s shortcode has not been inserted correctly, because the point displayed on the map has no associated a taxonomy.

If you prefer, I can check the plugin and shortcode’s settings in your website, but I would need the access to your WordPress.

Where do you set the taxonomy? I see where you can change where the legend pulls from, but I can’t get the legend to display either. Space limitation?

    Hello,

I’m confused, exactly how do you want to show the map?, If you want filtering for a custom taxonomy, without displaying the legend, for example, assuming that the taxonomy name is: my_taxonomy, and the slugs of terms for filtering are: term-a, and term-b, the shortcode would be:

    [codepeople-post-map taxonomy="my_taxonomy" my_taxonomy="term-a,term-b"]

    Best regards.

That’s what I’m trying to do. The custom taxonomy I’m trying to use is tribe_venues_cat. The category I’m trying to display is “drink”. Going off what you wrote above, it should be formatted like this?

    [codepeople-post-map taxonomy=”tribe_venues_cat” tribe_venues_cat=”drink”]

Using this, the map does not display.

    Hello,

If you are using the professional version of the plugin, and the previous shortcode is not loading the map, then the possible causes are:

    – The taxonomy name is incorrect,
    – There is not a term with the “drink” slug in the taxonomy,
    – There are no points defined in the posts with the term “drink”

If any of the previous points is true, there are no points to display in the map, in whose case the plugin does not load the map.

I can check your settings if you create a ticket in my private website:
