Custom Taxonomies

I think it may be best to offer the opportunity to create custom taxonomies that work within the structure of creating a job listing as well as searching / sorting.
The location custom field for example would best serve as a location taxonomy which would allow developers to create an easier way to sort by Job Type and Location.
Currently, in order to accomplish this, the Location custom search dropdown would have to be populated with all possible locations correct? With a location taxonomy, you would be able to get a list of all taxonomies with job listings assigned to one of the ‘location’ categories.
Any advice on how we could proceed within the structure of your current plugin. We are trying to finalize functionality before deciding which job board is going to best suit our needs.
