I have added two custom tags called “Specifications” and “Downloads” and can be seen for example for this product: https://www.vera-audio.com/product/p150-600-rs/

However, the tags are not seen when I go the the product in the control panel anymore. Despite that they can be seen under “Tags” under “Products”.

I’m using the plugin “Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce” by Yikes for this. I’ve tried another plugin by Web builder called “Custom Product tabs for WooCommerce”, but with the same result.

My theme is Astra. I’ve tried to deactive all other plugins and installed the Storefront theme like described in the link below, but this didn’t help.

    Hi @omholt ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

It seems like you have added custom tabs to display on your Single Product page however, you are unable to see the tags when editing a product in your sites dashboard, is this correct?

Kindly note that although the behavior is the same regardless of whether you use the “Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce” by Yikes plugin, or the “Custom Product tabs for WooCommerce” by Web Builder plugin, these are both third-party plugins which means that support related to the features and extensibility of these plugins, is outside our scope of support.

This being said, I’d suggest reaching out to the plugin developers for further help with this issue.

Here is a direct link to the “Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce” by Yikes plugin forum.

On the other hand, I have checked the WooCommerce.com Marketplace, and found the Custom Product Tabs Manager extension.

Although this plugin is not free, WooCommerce.com offers a 30-day refund policy which you can take advantage of, allowing you to test the extension, and make sure that it is what you are looking for.

    Thanks for the feedback!
    Your desciption is correct.
When I have switched between the “Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce” by Yikes plugin, and the “Custom Product tabs for WooCommerce” by Web Builder plugin, I see that the custom tags I initially made with the first of these have not changed. They are still there. I was therefore wondering if I made have to delete the ones I’ve made, before I try another plugin for this?

Good to know before I test the one that cost money.

    Hi @omholt ,

It’s possible that the custom tabs you created with the first plugin may not be affected by the second plugin. This is because each plugin may use a different method for creating and managing custom tabs.

?I was therefore wondering if I made have to delete the ones I’ve made, before I try another plugin for this?

In order to ensure that your custom tabs are properly managed and updated, it would be a good idea to delete the existing tabs before trying a new plugin, or even disabling existing plugins that’s main purpose is the same and only using one. This will ensure that there are no conflicts between the old and new plugins and that your custom tabs are fully updated and functional.

    Hope this helps!

Problem seems to be that the left menu under products is gone. It’s the menu where you have_ General, Inventory, Shipping, Linked Products, etc. And Custom Tabs should have been at the bottom of this menu.
But I don’t have this menu.
