    Hello,

We show the custom stock status on each product page and this one can differ from each product variation.

We would like to display this stock status for each product in all the order confirmation emails. (and it must not change when ever we change it for that product in the shop)
Can anyone please tell me how I can do this?

I found this code and yes, that code works but… Is it possible to not show outofstock/instock/onbackorder but the custom text we use in your plugin?

Thanks for your update and the new feature.

But that Show Stock Status in Order Email does not work with variable products.
With variable products I go to the product page (backend) itself and go to variations, I set under: Adjusted stock status, the actual status.

On the order confirmation page, mails and order in Woocommerce it shows the stock status set in: Woocommerce – settings – Custom Stock.

Also: you say: The custom stock status message in email may be differ based on availability of product at the time of order, it is not always same as customers see in shop page
This results in: Today the stock status is 10 days, this shows in the order mail and in the woocommerce orders. But when I change the stock status of that product to 20 weeks. This new stock status is showing. So the clients logs in and sees this new order status which is not correct. And we see it to in the woocommerce orders.

Can you help me please and reply?

    Hi @dwnl,

    1. Fixed issue of stock status shown in order email and customer -> my account -> order details page.
    2. Included the variation status in order email and order details page

Update Versions 1.2.6 to check the above changes

@softound stock status isn’t showing in my emails. Is there a setting I should activate?

Yes @katfrajoe, go to Woocommerce – settings – Custom Stock, you see a check box for it.

@softound Yes, it seems it all works now! Thank you very, very much!
I will test it some more. Great work! And thanks for the reply.

I have one small thing do…
Would it be possible to show the same customs stock statuses also on the cart page and check out page/payment page?

    That would be so great!

I hope to hear from you soon.

    Hi,
I found the check box. But it is showing the stock status after purchase, not the status which it was at the moment of purchasing.

    I had one order:
Products has one in stock so stock message is 1-2 work days
Client purchases one stock status in email is 1-2 weeks which is set in the backorder option.

Can you see this is confusing for clients?

    Hope you can fix this.

    Regards.

@katfrajoe did you update the plugin?

    Version 1.2.7

    Thread Starter SLV

    (@dwnl)

@katfrajoe, sorry, I am not the plugin developer.
But I tested what you say and you are right!

    Product settings:
1 in stock + ‘Allow backorders?’ Allow, but notify customer + ‘(can be backordered)’ within 10 days + ‘Available on backorder’ 6 weeks
Product front page: 1 in stock, delivery within 10 days.

    Problem:
Add this product to your cart and place the order.
On the order-received/thank u page the wrong status is showing the ‘Available on backorder’ 6 weeks, instead of the ‘(can be backordered)’ within 10 days.

    Same here:
    Product settings:
1 in stock + ‘Allow backorders?’ Allow + ‘In stock’ within 10 days + ‘%s in stock’ within 3 days.
Product front page: delivery within 3 days.

    Problem:
Add this product to your cart and place the order.
On the order-received/thank u page the wrong status is showing the ‘In stock’ within 10 days, instead of the ‘%s in stock’ within 3 days.

so @softound, can you fix this please, as soon as you can?
