Custom Sport: Racing – Is this possible?

  • I’m trying to create a website for a Drone league. I’ve created the event results I need for the sport, time, successful hoops, fouls, etc. But the main problem I’m having is how do I create events with multiple competitors? Drone races aren’t setup in matches where its 1 team or player vs another single team or player. Its setup where 10 or even 20 competitors all run the same race and all their results are compared.

    There are also more outcomes. The only way I see to make an outcome is most or least points. I can’t create a 2nd place and have that be the 2nd most points.

    How would I set the plugin up to work like this?

    You can add as many teams / players and as many outcomes you want. The only thing that won’t work is the automatic assignment (so you’d need to manually set which player got 1st, 2nd and so on)

    First step is creating all the match outcomes you need (from 1st to the last one you’ve got)

    Then under SportsPress Settings > Events you can increase the limit of teams to a higher number (such as 20)
