Custom Sidebars based on PAges

Hi,
A bit new to this. I want to have a 3column wordpress template that has 2 sidebars left and right with content in the middle. I would like to have each sidebar contain links to pages and it appear the same on every page. left side will have the same set of links the right side will have the same set of links back to pages. I have most of the site worked out already but I am unsure of how to add the pages to each side bar . Any one can just give me a push in the right direction. Would be great. for example right side:
sports
tennis
events

left side:
news
dancing
swimming

i have the pages created already
