Custom Sharedaddy sharing service button icon

Hi there,

I’m struggling with assigning a custom JetPack Sharedaddy sharing service button its own icon in front of the button text. The problem is that custom services need an image which then – even if empty – is using the CSS from the button text.

Any suggestion how to replace the custom image file via CSS with a font icon (e.g. FontAwesome)?

PS: This sounds like a useful feature request, doesn’t it?
