• Hi! I have two questions:
    1. When a keyword is input, a list of ajax results are shown. How do I ensure that the order of ajax search results lists titles that match the keyword, followed by posts with tags that match the keyword, followed by posts with content that match the keyword?

    2. How do I customize the search results page? Because my website uses custom templates, and I’d like to apply the template to the search results page.

    Many thanks!

    Hi!

    1. Well, in the lite version the relevance values can not be modified. It almost follows the same order, except the relevance is something like Title matches > Description matches/Excerpt matches > Custom field | Taxonomy term matches. It is a bit more complex, but generally it works like that.

    2. That needs to be modified via the theme you are using.

    Hi Ernest,

    Thank you!
    1. Can the pro version customize the order so that results are arranged like so: 1. posts with titles that match the keyword, 2. posts with tags that match the keyword, 3. posts with content that match the keyword?

Yes, by altering the relevance values, it is possible.
