• I am trying to create a scheduling flow for a service based business. I would like to utilize a stack of prebuilt plugins, as I am not as fluent in development. The flow I am looking to accomplish is as follows –

1 – User goes to a services page and clicks “schedule service now” (or similar)
2 – User is taken to a calendar page and can see the available time slots.
3- Once user selects an available time slot, they are taken to a form to gather information (name, address, home sq ft. etc)
4 – Based on information in the form, they get a customized price (Based on the inputted distance from static point and sq footage of home).
5 – Once they see the full price, they are taken to checkout to pay a deposit.
6 – Once the deposit is payed, a PDF contract is generated (based on info from previous form) and sent to their email for signature.

Any help would be great as best plugins to use or if I should do something else.

  • Hello there!

If you are considering using WooCommerce, there are a couple of free plugins that can help you:

-WooCommerce Bookings Calendar: customers can book from your calendar the available time slots

-WC Distance Calculator: to calculate the distance (in miles or km) from a static point

For customized prices based on home sq ft, with WooCommerce you can create separated products based on an sq ft range. You can also have one product and add variations to it based on the sq ft range, it depends on what works best for you.

Once you have installed and activated WooCommerce and the plugins, you can set them up as you wish from the menu on the left.

For processing payments, you could use the WooCommerce Payments plugin.

I hope this helps, and good luck with your business!
