Hi, the custom made two orders, 3 days apart. The first had “5204/42-44” as the street number, the second had “4203/42-44”. Everything else in the address was identical. She didn’t create an account. Her neighbors ended up stealing the package from her. I checked both her orders in woocommerce and the addresses both are different. She is saying we changed the address which we didn’t obviously.

I asked her to forward me the email she received and it is the “5204/42-44” address even though the “new order” confirmation email had the “4203/42-44” address. Is this possible, or did she just edit the email (which is easy) before forwarding it to me?

    Thanks for the help!

    Hello?

    Hi @soulipsyz,

That is an unfortunate situation. I’m sorry this happened. It would be highly unlikely that the order had one address which matched the new order email and the customer invoice was yet another address. Most likely the address was changed in the email that they sent back. If it doesn’t match what is in the order information in the admin, then that’s the likeliest situation.

It won’t help with this order, but you might consider installing a mail log plugin like WP Mail Logging. It will keep a log of all the emails sent by WordPress/WooCommerce. You’ll know exactly what is sent to your customers since you’ll have a copy of it.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

    Best,
