    Hi Justin,

I have a custom registration page for my site, I’d like that to remain the registration page, how do I replace /local-signup with the custom page?

Hi @samikip sorry for the slow response.. If you want to use your own template you can override the template used for the ../local-signup page by creating a template with the file ‘page-signup.php’ and add this to either the parent or child theme.

The template will need to be using the standard WP functionality as in wp-signup.php.

Issue is not the template per se but the permalink, you’ve hardcoded the local-signup as the only sign up page, I was asking if I can create my own sign up page, not necessarily based on wp-signup and use that as the default sign up page

yes you would just add include the ‘page-signup.php’ template into your theme to override. But I not sure what you are doing .. the wp mechanisms are running on the sub-site and the registration is on the main network site. if you are doing custom things you’ll have to rewrite wp to handle the user registration.

the custom page route for the Local-signup is to allow people the means to tweak the standard wp-signup.php template .. or at least replicate its functionality if your going fully custom.
