    Hello,

I was wondering if there is a possibility or hack to be made to not refer visitors to the referring page after logging in, but to the page they intended to go to (link href).

So visitors intent to do go ‘agenda’ via homepage and get redirected to the login page. After login I would like visitors to be redirected to ‘agenda’ not to the referrer (homepage).

    Hope you can help!

    Best regards,
    Jaimy

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi Jaimy:

TML already offers that option via WP Admin> TML> General> Modules> Enable Custom Redirection. Redirection will then appear as a sub-menu item under TML where you can customise accordingly.

    Hello Miguel,

I have found that option, thanks, but than I still need to fill in a url (or not?).
Or is it also possible to fill in some code to refer to the href link.
I have multiple redirections in the website, so I cannot redirect to a single page, it needs to redirect to the link href. How can I do that?

    Hi Jaimy:

You got me there. I don’t know enough about codding or CSS, so you’ll neeed to wait for a reply from TML. Otherwise, it sounds like you haven’t yet actually followed the crumb trail I described. Yes, you enter a URL, and there are several options available.

Good Luck and I’ll keep my eyes open for an official answer that I too may be able to take advantage of.

    Hi Miguel,

Thanks for your reply. From the 3 options in “Custom Redirection”, none realy fit my needs. I would like the 3rd option (send user to specific page) changed into ‘Send user to page he was trying to visit’.

Love it how you’re trying to help! I’ll wait for a reply from TML and hope we can find some kind of hack for this option. Or maybe someone has already figured this out and can help me?

“Referer” is the page the user was trying to visit.

That is strange, because if I want to go from ‘home’ to ‘agenda’ I first get redirected to the log-in page and then after log-in I get redirected to ‘home’ instead of ‘agenda’.

I work with the plug-in ‘WP private content settings’ to make sure that the ‘agenda’ page gets redirected to the log-in page.
