Custom properties

Not sure if this has been asked before. But it would be amazing to be somehow able to entirely customize schema properties without having to add static code to every page. Like within the Schema Type Editor instead of having just the few pre-defined properties for each time in the dropdown, there would be an option to add custom types as well and/or entirely template the schema code using variables for values where possible.
