Custom Profile Page

I want users to submit their own content in post form, but I want them do do so within my theme or at least faceplate the admin section for them. I only require it for contributer and author levels of my site.

I have googled it for ages and keep coming accross a CYC link to this website, but I cannot find it on her website.

I would rather not mess about in the backend code if possible.
