Custom Profile Fields with ACF

Sorry, no. This is because the Connections Directory is not a custom post type (CPT). The directory database is optimized for directory listing content instead of posts. This is for performance and scalability.

That said, it is possible to add custom fields, from simple to complex, to Connections.
