• Apologies for the newbie question, all thoughts are appreciated . . .

I want to create a product page for 7 different downloadable software products but don’t know if it’s best to simply create these as unique pages in WP or simply create them as Woocommerce products and let the menus and pages fill in automagically?

If using WP, my guess is I can simply create the page as I wish and drop an Add to Cart button on it . . .

If using Woocommerce, I assume I can simply set up each product and link to each accordingly from the menu and adjust a master template directly . . .

    Thoughts? Suggestions? Best Practices?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Have you looked at a digital downloads plugin – such as:

    Thanks!

Just installed it – Will it work in tandem with Woocommerce if I have both physical and digital products? I have read good reviews about it.

Also, are you suggesting that regardless I want to manage all my commerce activity via a plug-in rather than build a page per product in WP?

I really don’t know the answer to the first question – but you could ask on the DD forum – the developer is very responsive. Are you already using WooCommerce?

manage all my commerce activity via a plug-in rather than build a page per product in WP?

Probably easier to have it all integrated.
