Custom product options with radio button in product attributes

    I am working on my website for custom bicycles. Customers should be able to see the bikes specification and to select options such as different tires, saddles, lighting, with or without fenders, carrier, … Therefore i need something like radio button selections in the product attributes for custom product options. The selection must add also the price to the product price.

    The problem with the normal variable product optiins is:
    1: Every Option result in a new sub product what makes it very difficult to manage. I would like to have just one product with additional variable options to choose.

    2: The selection box or radio button shall be displayed in the product attributes as they are part of the product specification.

    Does anybody know how to solve this problem? I
    s there maybe a plugin that I didn’t found jet?

    That’s the free version. There is a premium version of that, and there are other premium “add-on” plugins if you need more features.

    Add-on type plugins don’t allow individual SKU numbers, stock control or images, but it sounds like those won’t be issues for your application.

    I took a look to this plugin but the problem is that it places the options not in the product attributes but beside the product pictures only.
    A I need the options to be chosen within the product specification list this plugin seams not to work for me ??

    The add-on options should be showing just above the add-to-cart button which is the usual place for add-ons.

    Do you want them to show in the Additional Information tab? I’ve not seen that done – it would be technically difficult because the options need to be inside the add-to-cart form.

    Ok, I see. I thought the additional information tab would be nice to write down all the specifications of bicycle the parts as well as the selection of the additional options. So maybe I just add some text between the additional options to get a complete specifications list.

    I don’t think there’s scope to put text between the options, not without some custom coding. The bulk of the product spec would be in the product description and might be quite lengthy, but the options would have just quite short labels. Perhaps the labels would mirror the paragraph headings in the spec.

    I thought about something looking like this:
    Specificatoin-Image
    The nicest would be to have one tab with description text and one tab with Specifications including the selection as shown in the picture in the link.
