custom print-posts.php not working in Firefox(Mac) and IE(!)

Using wp-print to give site visitors a trimmed down version of an events programme with a custom print.posts.php file… looks great and works well on Safari, Opera, Chrome, but on Firefox on a Mac and on IE on a windows(not sure what version), it isn’t working. The link to print friendly page isn’t doing anything.
Has anyone else noticed this? Can’t work that one out!
