Custom posts not showing

I have checked my custom post type in the settings, but no custom posts (nor the option for my custom post type) is displayed in the ‘link to existing content’ dropdown.

Also I have unchecked ‘taxonomies’ in the settings, yet they still appear in the link to existing content dropdown
