Custom Post Types not working?

I use a custom post type for the posts to my wordpress blog. This plugin seems to see them and when I enable them it says that there are 600+ posts enabled.
But when I go to the rss feed, none show up. If I post a plain vanilla WP post, it shows up but even if I republish the custom post type they still do not appear in the RSS.
Is there a way to make this plugin work to see custom post types?
