    Hey there,

Very excited about this plugin – have got myself into the classic ACF ‘creating field structure on the fly’ mess. Conflicts everywhere, need a clean slate. Thanks for creating and putting out there.

I just installed the plugin but am not seeing my custom post types listed in the clean options; just Media, Pages and Posts. The CPT’s are created using ‘Custom Post Type UI’ plugin rather than directly in my theme – I wonder if that’s an issue. Any advice?

    Thanks,
    Sim

Ah ha, think I spotted the reason. My CPT’s weren’t pubic (because I’m using it headless) but that was meaning they weren’t showing up in the list. Switched them to be public and they’re there now!

Will leave the reply here in case anyone else has the same issue ??

    Sorry for the late reply.

Yeah, indeed. Only public CPT are displayed. Since private ones are normally not used for ACF fields. But maybe outputting them anyways, but not activating them by default would be an option as well. To reduce confusion.

In the next release there will be more CPT shown in the list. I switched the setting from “public” to “show_ui”. So as soon as it’s present in the sidebar, it’s also listed in the plugin. That should make more sense and reduces confusion.

    Thanks for the ticket.
