Custom Post Types & Fields

  • I’m using custom post types in a website to create special features like an online publication (separate from the blog) and a searchable game database.

    I want to customize the game post types in the game database to have special fields, that I’ll then use in a template. Example fields are things like “Game Description”, “Image”, “Type”, “Website”, etc.

    Does anyone know of any quality sources that discuss similar issues to these that I can read up on?
