    Hi,

You have to make sure that the listing is iterated with wpdb>main_query or any custom query is being used in theme template? My plugin works fine with WordPress standard theme development but if you are using any custom query then you might will require its pro version and custom implementation from settings.

P.S. If you are not sure that main query is used in template or not so you may ask me to look into it. Simply reach me through my blog and send me your FTP login credentials, i will update you about the status soon.

    Thanks,
    Fahad

    Hi,

Have you tried this? Or you may be requiring the pro version?

    Thanks,
    Fahad

Jeanniepia, how were you able to add pagination to your directory? I’ve been searching all over for a solution! My site uses the same Business Directory plugin. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi sadielesko, the Business Directory Plugin actually includes an “alphabetical filter” now. You will need to download their new release of the free update for the Enhanced Categories Module (version 3.6). This was released on May 5th. You can contact Dave for questions on that at [email protected]. I haven’t tried that method yet because I used another plugin called Alphabetic Pagination in conjunction with the Business Directory Plugin. Fahad, the plugin author is very responsive and he took the time to customize this for me over Skype back in April this year. I just had to pay for the pro version which is very reasonable considering all of the customer service and support he provides. Plus the pagination is very slick. Since my directory is under 1000 entries, he used jquery method for filtering which is very fast. Otherwise, if your entries are over 1000, he recommends using another filter method which requires the page to refresh each time, which is slower. You can contact Fahad for the Alphabetic Pagination plugin questions. Fahad’s contact is listed above. Hope that helps! Jeannine
