Custom Post Types and Taxonomies not translating

  • In the options panel i have the setting “Custom Post Types and Taxonomies” marked as “disabled” and greyed out, as other two settings (the other two are explicitly of the pro version).
    Is “Custom Post Types and Taxonomies” a pro feature, too?
    In the post>categories setting page i can translate the categories, but it displays only the main language..

  • It’s not a pro feature as I don’t have the pro version and mine is enabled.

    But the categories are not chosen from there as the only options I can check in the custom posts and taxonomies are:

    FAQs
    FAQ Categories
    Media Categories

    Same here. I can see it is an option, but it is greyed out. How do we enable this?

    Hi,

    By default, only public custom post types and taxonomies are available in this option. For non-public types, you must use a wpml-config.xml file or the filters pll_get_post_types, pll_get_taxonomies. See https://polylang.pro/doc-category/developers/
