Yes, you need t enable “Podcast Type Podcasting”, then associate post type podcast channels to your post type. Technically you can create a post type called ‘foo’, then create a post type podcast channel for ‘foo’ called ‘podcast’. The “posts” podcast feed would be https://example.com/feed/podcast/ and your post type podcasting ‘foo’, podcast channel feed would be https://example.com/foo/feed/podcast/.

Your registered post type needs to have specific attributes set to support feeds and be linear (not hierarchical).

hierarchical’ => false

Having hierarchical = true may work, but past testing it did not.

More specifically…

capability_type=post
rewrite = true
has_archive = true

Without these settings, there will be no permalink version of the feed.
