Custom post type Top rated widget

GD Rating System finds all post types on init hook (priority 9). WordPress registers post types on priority 1, and most WordPress features need for post types to be registered before priority 8.

And Avada is registering post type with priority 10, and my plugin doesn’t see the post type because it is added too late.

I can see if I can make some changes to the initialization process to take into account late registration of post types.

We have used the GD Star Rating plugin in the past and it worked fairly well. However, installing the new GD Rating System plugin completely crashes our website and we get get a ‘Server Error 500’ grey screen. The only way to resolve this is to delete the gd-rating folder from within the plugin folder.

Any ideas why we are unable to install the plugin?

Can you check your server for error log. Any time Server Error 500 is displayed, real error is logged into the PHP error log.

So far there were some minor issues, but no site breaking errors. Let me know what you find out and I will fix the problem.

Thank you for your reply. We found the following error log (even with the v1.02 update):

PHP Fatal error: Declaration of gdrts_method_stars_rating::prepare_loop_list() must be compatible with that of gdrts_method::prepare_loop_list() in …../wp-content/plugins/gd-rating-system/methods/stars-rating/load.php on line 477.

However, looking at Line 477 of load.php there is no code after line 472.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

i just downloaded your plugin, i can’t see the ratings in my custom post types, but i can see them in my regular posts

i also seen that i only have a single line of ratings.. if i upgrade what i be able to do more

is there a multi rating form? , this is so confusing

Plugin works with custom post types, but you need to enable that (Settings -> Posts panel).

Multi ratings are not yet available, but they are planned for Pro version only. You can check out the Pro version features compared to Free version here: https://rating.dev4press.com/free-vs-pro-plugin/
