Custom post type template file location

    Heya.

    Derpy question, might be X/Y problem.

    I’ve created a custom post type “xyz”. Did this plugin automatically generate a “single-xyz.php”, copying the “single.php” as I used it as the source for this CPT? Where is it ?? Is it somewhere, do I need to create it? Where do I put it?

    Please don’t reference the Codex, just tell me. Pleaseeee.

    This plugin doesn’t create the php files for your custom post type. It just creates the post type. Yes you need to create it. You put it in your theme root folder.
