  • godthor,

    First question:
Is the custom post type showing in your websites’s sitemap_index.xml?

    If you answered ‘yes’ then:
What is your website’s URL? How is the custom post type being created / set? Is it part of your theme, or a plugin?

    Daniel:

Yes, the post type is showing in the XML sitemap: https://mynetking.com/sitemap_index.xml

You’ll notice the MYNK member post type, which is created by a plugin I created.

I forgot, the HTML sitemap can be found here: https://mynetking.com/sitemap/

And I just figured out the issue. I have another plugin installed, Advanced Excerpt, and it appears to be filtering your output when showing the posts. In filtering your output it’s messing it up. By turning it off, Advanced Excerpt, things are working as expected.

Great, I am glad you found a solution to your issue.

I did notice though that a custom taxonomy of mine is not coming through in the HTML sitemap. You’ll see it shows in the XML one as mynk_jobs but it’s not shown in the HTML sitemap.

Right now the plugin only renders the post category taxonomy. I will eventually add a feature to pick and choose the taxonomies you would like to show.

Gotcha. I look forward to that.

I’ll go ahead and close this one out. Thanks again.

Can I ask if this feature (showing custom taxonomies) is going to make it in and when?
