Custom Post Type not being recognized by WP Carousel

    I’ve been using WP Carousel to pull my custom post type (Events) to create a scoreboard scroll across the top of my website. It was linking to the post/boxscore page just fine for weeks. Now today for some reason, it stopped working because WP Carousel can no longer find the custom post type available as an option. However, my Post Tables plugin does find it and pulls the data in correctly.

    Any idea why the post type would suddenly stop being found? I have also reached out to the WP Carousel people for help.

    Is there any solution to help get this post type recognized?
