Dear author of this awesome plugin,

your plugin works mostly flawless and is of great help!

All transactional emails go out without problems (registration, password change etc). I do have issues with all author notifications for my custom post type, and I figured that it might be the settings I have chosen here (see below).

Would any of the CPT settings prevent bnfw from firing?

    name: wettbewerbe
    label: Wettbewerb
    singular_label: Wettbewerbe
    description: “”
    public: true
    publicly_queryable: false
    show_ui: true
    show_in_nav_menus: true
    show_in_rest: false
    rest_base: “”
    has_archive: false
    has_archive_string: “”
    exclude_from_search: false
    capability_type: post
    hierarchical: false
    rewrite: true
    rewrite_slug: “”
    rewrite_withfront: true
    query_var: false
    query_var_slug: “”
    menu_position: “”
    show_in_menu: true
    show_in_menu_string: “”
    menu_icon: “”
    custom_supports: “”

    Thank you, Niko.

    Hi @nsultan,
    Thanks for your message.

Nothing I can see should prevent your notification from going out. If it wasn’t showing in the list of available notifications I would say to make sure that ‘public’ is set to ‘true’ but that’s about it.

How are you triggering the notifications? Is this via a front-end form or the WP Admin?

    Thanks,
    Jack

Thank you for your quick reply, Jack!

Interestingly, I have issues to trigger it if I change the post status of the custom post type on either the front-end or the admin back-end.
I just tested the notification with the standard post type and it works well.

    EDIT:
Sorry for wasting your time, I just noticed in another support question, that i must have overseen a setting. I did not scroll through to the custom post type notifications. In case it is possible, you may increase the size of the scroll window, so that specialist like me have a higher chance of finding the custom post types. Or alternative make two menu items out of it.

    Awesome plugin.
