custom post type in wp_nav_menu

Is it possible to show the actual custom post type in the wp menu?

This would then link to a page listing all of the posts under that custom post type.

I cant figure out if it is possible. It seems to me that you can only list the terms or the actual post in the wp menu.

Any ideas on how to achieve this?
