Custom post type do not show on category pages

    Hi, I created a custom type called podcasts and custom categories to group my podcasts. The problem I’m having is that when I click on any category from podcasts, I get “No results found.” as you can see below:

    As you can see above that specific category has 10 podcasts, so I was expecting to see them.

    Am I missing something? do I need anything else to show the podcasts under categories?

    Is “contracting-and-managing-the-consulting-project” a specific podcast post? or is it a child category?

    I’m assuming at the moment that it’s a post, which is going to conflict with what WordPress is interpreting it should be querying for, which would be that portion being a child category.

    Thank for the answer, the “contracting-and-managing-the-consulting-project” is a child category here are all the categories I have:

    Noted and that makes it likely easier, however there will need to be a small snippet of code to help out.

    We have documented all of this including some extra explanations, over at https://docs.pluginize.com/article/post-types-in-category-tag-archives/

    Hopefully this makes sense and you can use it.
