Custom Post type, display text from editor

Hi, I created a custom post type which has custom meta boxes and i figured out how to display the content in the meta boxes but I can not seem to pull JUST the text from the editor? using the_content() pulls way more info than i want such as the title and the social media buttons, i do not want all that..just the text. Anyone know how to call just the text i would REALLY appreciate the help!
