Custom post type comments not showing in Recent Comments feed

Hi, I like this plugin a lot. I have setup a custom post type on my site called “news” and enabled comments. I can receive comments normally and you can see they appear at the bottom of one of my posts here: https://sleepcoaching.com/news/why-does-coffee-make-you-tired/

However, these comments are not showing up in my Recent Comments feed as when using a Recent Comments widget on the site like what is on the right-hand sidebar of my site.

Is there a way to configure the custom post type comments to appear in the normal WordPress post comments feed, or is there a unique comments feed url that I could use a RSS reader to display the comments for my custom post types?

For example, the standard comment RSS feed url is:

https://sleepcoaching.com/comments/feed (this will display my normal standard WP post comments)

My custom post type feed url is:

https://sleepcoaching.com/feed/?post_type=news (this displays my custom post type posts, but not custom post type comments)

Is there a modification to the custom post type url above that will display custom post type comments?

Or better yet, can my custom post type comments be added to the standard output of WordPress comments as in a Recent Comments widget?

Note: All of my comments for regular and custom post types appear in the same location inside my WordPress dashboard.
