custom post type category/texonomy

    thanks for very useful plugin!
    look im trying to filter comments by categories that belongs to custom post type and it doesn’t work for me.
    iv’e tried all the possibilities around :
    [comments category=***] replaced category with texonomy etc’ etc’

    then i have checked the “contect” page where i found the right string for that – “pflistingtype”( i have tryied [comments pflistingtype=category_name] in my case, it still not filtering by the category.

    any idea?

    Hello,

    Thank you for the detailed description. I think what you want is to filter by custom taxonomy term:

    [comments taxonomy=pflistingtype term=category_name]

    Does that work?

    ?[comment avatar] ? ? [comment author-link]
    [/comments]

    Any other way to try?

    Please try the taxonomy term name, not ID: term=term_name

    In the next update, I’ll make it so that it will work with term ID also.

    Sorry for confusing..
    “931” its a taxonomy term name, not ID…
    the name is a number.. other names are in Hebrew so i tried to not confuse..
    Any way still not work..
    any other maybe ?

    You can test to see if any posts match the query:

    [loop taxonomy=pointfinderitypes term=931]
  [field title] has comments:
  [comments id=this]
    [comment avatar]     [comment author-link]
  [/comments]
[/loop]

    Does that display anything?
