• Hi,
I’m trying to upgrade from 3.0.5. to 3.1.2 (but tried with 3.1.1, too). I registered 2 custom post types:

[Code moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please use the pastebin]

and a taxonomy (plus re-registered the default ones, to have them for the custom post types, too):

[Code moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please use the pastebin]

    My permalink structure is:
    /%category%/%postname%-%post_id%

    and category base is:
    sezione

The problem is that after upgrading (and update the permalink), addresses like:
    https://mysite.com/foto/sezione/auto-moto

    (foto=custom post type, sezione=category base, auto-moto=category)
    return a 404 error

    In other words:
how can I list custom posts that belong to a certain category?

    Thanks

  • I’m having a similar issue.

Same issue. Would be great if we could figure this out. Two days looking and no solution yet.

It’s good to see that other people have the same problem. Not many, so probably we’re doing something wrong guys…but have no idea what can be. Tried a lot, now I gave up since some weeks, waiting for a new versione of WP.

Sorry, the code was moderated, please ask if you need it.

its not good to see that other people are having the same problem. this is a joke when you have people coming to your website and then this happens havent wordpress guys heard of testing?

to make it worse cant even find a damn solution!!!

Not tried yet with 3.1.3, I’ll let you know if it fixes.
