Greetings and Thanks for your hard work.

I am testing your plugin and noticed that it doesn’t seem to work with Custom Post Types. For the test I am using Jetpack’s built in portfolio post-type.

Is there something I can do to make the plugin work with CPT?

    Thank you in advance
    Daveed

    Hello Daveed,

Thank you for using our plugin!
I will check this and try to fix it.
Can you explain me what is exactly going wrong?

    Hi,
When I use the short-code with a custom taxonomy no tiles show.
In this case I was using the custom taxonomy “project type” from Jetpack “portfolio” posttype.

Perhaps if I setup my own cpt and custom taxonomy it will work, just wondered if you knew what parameters are needed for the cpt and/or custom taxonomy declaration for the plugin to work.

    Thank you
    Daveed

    Hi Daveed,
I will check this and let you know the results.
Today i have worked very hard on a new release which is available at this moment by GitHub.
Please notice that this is not a final release.
With this release you can setup any page or post with tiles, or make from the category or term pages tile pages, easier than it was before.

I’ll get back to you as soon i find some solution for your problem.

Our plugin works with a post or page template, for this reason the plugin cannot read the content of Jetpack portfolio.
I can add this feature, but its a lot of work to do.
WP Tiles WUD checks or a post category or term exists and display this in his own format, Jetpack is using a complete different way to call the content.
So at this moment its not possible to show pages from portfolio as tiles.

Since we have a very stable release, i will start to implement this option.
If success, Jetpack portfolio will be included in WP Tiles WUD.
    Kind regards, Danny

    Hi Danny,

Thank you for the update. Sounds wonderful.
May I make a suggestion that the PlugIn work with any Custom Post Type, to which jetpack portfolio is simply one type, created with the jetpack plugin

If i setup a WP test site with Jetpack installed, can you provide me content where it works and where not, so we can adjust the code there where needed?
