Custom post title are overwritten

So, I usually write my own custom title tags and meta descriptions for my blog posts.
Hence in the plugin General Settings -> Title Settings I have kept the format field blank. I’ve kept the default formats for other types.
However, even if I’ve specified my custom titles in the post window. Like this
the plugin prints an incorrectly displays a title tag using the default format %post_title% | %blog_title%.
