    I’m not sure I understand. This is already what the plugin does. Its intention is to provide a way to color the post states and format the existing tags.

    This plugin doesn’t create new post status values, it merely formats them nicely. You will have to install another plugin that adds more post states, e.g. Archived Post Status or Custom Status – both are in the WordPress Plugin repository.

    Also, WordPress core decides which status values appear as tags – not all will appear and there is no hook for this either.
