Custom Post Permalinks not working for me

This plugin is exactly what I need, but I can’t seem to get it to work. I have the post type Magazine, and the permalink is set to:
/%post_type%/%year%/%monthnum%/%Magazine%/The individual post permalinks get a 404, example:
https://retrieverbeliever.com/Magazine/2010/09/the-labrador-retriever/When I put in the monthly archive URL (https://retrieverbeliever.com/Magazine/2010/09) it gets redirected to this post: https://retrieverbeliever.com/2010/09/2010-grca-national/ (this is a regular post type, not a Magazine post type)
I feel like I must be missing something simple, but have hit a wall and could use some help. Thanks!
