    Hi,
I have notifications set up for an announcement custom post type on my site.
The email needs to go out to ~ 150 subscribers. It was working great, except for AOL users, who could not receive mail from our web site (something about our web host not using the same IP address for all sendmail stuff).

To overcome this, I added a Gmail SMTP plugin so our emails would always come from the same server, and now the process times out after sending just over 50 emails.

Is there a way to divide the subscriber list into smaller chunks without adding each user individually? Like, A through G, H through N, etc? That would be wicked handy.

    thanks,
    pq

    Hi @pq,
    Thanks for your message.

If the issue is just with AOL users and the Gmail plugin isn’t helping because it’s stopping after 50 emails, it’s possible that this limit is imposed by Gmail.

Have you tried using Postman SMTP with your own mail server to send from your domain name as opposed from Gmail? This might increase the limit and improve deliverability.

Let me know how you get on.

    Thanks,
    Jack
